Hokkaido Fair
Saturday, September 20th, 2008So James and I went to Mitsuwa for our weekly visit and it was PACKED! I totally forgot that they were holding the Hokkaido fair/festival this weekend. Well I ended up buying curry bread and melon bread which was very delicious. I also got a veggie croquette bread which was REALLY good too.But the bad thing was that it was disgustingly packed.
I also got more re-ment stuff. Two boxes of the kitchen series. Got the curry and grilled fish. That place was packed as well as Sanseido… we seriously went at the wrong time…
I think I’ll go to Kinokuniya later tonight.
Overwhelmed by technology…
Wednesday, September 17th, 2008I feel so totally overwhelmed by technology… its like a sick cycle. Customer buys state of the art laptop then newer more awesomer state of the art laptop appears RIGHT after. Cheaper or near the same price. T_T
I found out that Dennis’ and James’ laptop is compatible with 8gb of ram…
But my computer was broken. It had a defective motherboard and the dc-in jack was loose… good god it could have fried like Nick’s laptop did…
I sent it in to Toshiba’s service depot and my laptop is like new. I got a new motherboard and new dc-in jack. It runs a lot smoother too. No more flickering screen. No more blue screen. No more random shut downs. AND I got my display back. I really like Toshiba’s laptops as this is technically now my 4th one. They released a Qosmio which is two qosmios newer than mine which is really nice because you can do silly things like hand movements to use the laptop…its like HARRY POTTER O_O…… i want it….
Bleh… now that gets me thinking… itd be so sad if there really was a magicial world and I was just a muggle T_T
