Volks Super Dollfie Owners Event in Korea 2008
Tuesday, April 29th, 2008I am seriously thinking about attending the Volks Super Dollfie Owners Event in Korea 2008 instead of going to California… I need to go to Korea soon for some business and when I weighed out the costs, the price is going to be the same for going to Cali and going to Korea and it would be killing two birds with one stone. James says he wouldn’t mind going to Korea either~ Now if I can convince Seong Hye and Dennis to go too! *hopeful* ^o^

Toe infection- I figured it out…
Friday, April 25th, 2008I finally figured out why I stupidly get infections of the toe/feet… I have one now. It didn’t pus much but its red and swollen and hurts like all heck. Its been like this for 3 days nows and I’m wondering why its not healing. I haven’t been eating bad and I actually take my meds…
But I figured out that I get a cut and I tend to walk around with no socks on in sandals when I go out to places. So the bacteria must be coming in contact that way.
I’m contemplating going to my doctor or calling them now but I have an appointment this coming Wednesday and I feel too cheap to pay for the co-pay -__- (which leads me to another rant… my doctor keeps telling me to come in to just give me a refill prescription and sending me home and I have to pay for the co-pay… but when I didn’t have insurance I used to be given several refills without seeing the doctor so I didn’t need to pay for the appointment…)
I been sick for the past 2 weeks straight… T_T
Now I have to go see my gastro-blah blah blah doctor for a 2:15 appointment and I’m kind of nervous… I hope nothing’s wrong with me.

Stye in the Eye
Saturday, April 19th, 2008I feel like absolute rubbish…
One of the diabetes medicines I take 1.) smells and tastes like a very rancid fish that has been rotting in full sunlight for 72 hours and 2.) give me gastrointestinal problems where I feel like my stomach is going to cave in while emptying out my intestines through my mouth.
I woke up with an eye stye…which is I always get once a year for some odd reason. It hurts to blink.
I got my Soah from Emory yesterday!! James repurchased her for me and after bothering Emory if he had any Soahs left he told me he was going to get Elfdoll’s last shipment of them in and let me buy one!!!! She is just as lovely as I remember her! The only thing odd was that they forgot to paint the lips kind of or so I think… it has the lines drawn on but nothing else like no color or anything but I still love her. As usual he sent a BOATLOAD of goodies! Junkyspot is really awesome! I’ve ordered dolls from so many other doll companies and I’ve never gotten better customer service.
Leekeworld Wigs
Wednesday, April 16th, 2008I’ve been searching far and wide… on the internet the is… to look for some decent quality, decent priced wigs for my dolls and I think I’ll just have to get some wigs from Leekeworld. I think they are a tad expensive due to the shipping but they have a lot of choices and they are cheaper than Volks wigs. I’ve thought of buying the Leekeworld wigs second hand but the prices that the sellers ask for are the small as the retail price… T_T
I’ve also JUST found out that I need a zipper foot to sew on zippers… I could rant and rant about how for some odd reason I CANNOT sew zippers on evenly or close to the hem edge and I came across a sewing tutorial that mentioned zipper foots…
Its my last day at Dennis’ house and I’m going back home sometime today. My dad went to Korea on Monday and now the Exeter house is mine until May 7th!!! It feels very good to get out of James’ room and be able to roam around and take pictures outside with the flowers. James’ mum can’t even plant flowers at their house because the pups like to dig… I think Doc likes the smell of fresh earth.
As my left wrist is slowly healing, my right wrist is starting to symptoms of carpel tunnel. The numbing and the pain. My eyes are messed up. I can’t see things up close… what does that mean? Its been bothering me for a couple of years but now its getting serious. Maybe I should get a magnifying glass thing?
And so they cost $460…
Friday, April 4th, 2008-___- just for the front two… The guy said he used a breaker bar to get the bolts off… Curse the damn bolts!!!!

Brake Issues Cont…
Thursday, April 3rd, 2008So… the torch has NO effect whatsoever. After I torched the bottom caliper mount bolt, I had let it sit for a bit then put on a ratchet to try and loosen it, which by the way DID NOT work. I left the ratchet on the bolt for literally 20 seconds and WHALA… the ratchet welded itself on the heated bolt which James and I had cooled. SO we had to torch the ratchet and hit it with a hammer between intervals.
We used the blow torch over and over again and splashed cold water on it immediately after and NO crack or anything…
My options now are to:
1.) buy a long breaker bar/ or pipe that will fit the bolt so I can use the added leverage to stomp and hammer the hell out of it.
2.) Take it to a local shop, have THEM take and replace the bolts, and then drive it home with my tail between my legs and replace the pads/rotor.
3.) Take a change and beg my dad, whom has the skills to fix cars, to do it for me. This option is the last resort…

Brake Issues
Tuesday, April 1st, 2008So there seems to be issues with taking some bolts off the front brake caliper bolts. It also seems like the use of a blow torch is recommended and I think I’ll be playing around with one tomorrow.
On doll news… I freaking broke 2 doll hair rooting needles and cannot buy one in a store since FabricPlace closed down… now I have to order some online. I’m trying to use a smaller needle to root the head I’m doing now but its really difficult.
I’m also FINALLY done with putting together my Unoa Lusis. I blushed her but the bust looks too… saturated with color… I also scratched the hell out of A LOT of the blush because the resin is so freaking slippery!!!! I just have to give her a faceup now.
Blergh… I still haven’t called to make an appointment for surgery number 1… I also have an appointment tomorrow that my doctor. I was supposed to go in a month later but apparently my AC1 levels for my blood sugar is WAY too high and she has called for an audience with me for tomorrow… T_T I can’t get surgery if I can’t control my blood sugar. Why the hell do I get stuck with this stupid disease… why not one where I don’t have to lose a limb or suffer due to complications… I don’t mean to offend but if diabetes just killed you without suffering then I’d be happy and not worry.
James is slowly but surely getting me all of the dolls I had to sell. I just put Soah on layaway with Emory!!!!!!!! I unfortunately would LOVE to just splurge on dolls but I’ve been paying off my medical debt. I’ve paid off two and am on my last one. I have to keep money around for surgery -___- (which I don’t want…) I have to fix my car and then pay back friends for their loans. Its slowly getting there!
Argh my wrist hurt and my ankle hurts though.. my health just sucks and I always complain about it but I kind of feel good after I rant… ^_^;
